Prompt writing

If you find yourself dealing with writer’s block and being unable to find the right words, attempt writing about an easy prompt. There are a lot of ideas out there on the Internet, but you can also use your imagination if you want to. Okay, yes, if you are dealing with writer’s block you may just turn straight to the Internet.

Some examples of easy prompt writing are as follows:

• Describe your ideal home.
• Remember the best night of your life and write about it.
• Why are dogs so adorable and loyal?

As you can see, these prompts are not too demanding, and they may get you out of writer’s block. Writing when you don’t feel like it is a must and writing about easy prompts will help you. Now, this takes us to the next step.

Write at least 30 minutes a day

It may sound counterintuitive to write when you are dealing with writer’s block. But this is far from the truth.
Procrastination leads to more procrastination, and it becomes a loop that is insanely difficult to get out of. Find what time of the day works best for you to write and do it for at least thirty minutes a day.

You can use the advice mentioned above and write easy prompts. Or you can create an outline of what you would like to write about in that session. And just do it. It doesn’t matter if the result is great or poor; the important thing is that you get out of that procrastination and frustration loop.

Turn off distractions. Stay away from your cell phone or any devices that get in your way. In those thirty minutes, it’s just you and the blank paper. And it’s high time to conquer it.

One paid solution

Let’s say you have already tried all of the above. Let’s say none worked. Let’s say you are getting more and more frustrated by the passing day. Fortunately, with the advancement of new technologies, there is one paid solution available to you.
